Learning and Development to support user skillsAvia provide this service through the expert team at Plain Healthcare, our wholly owned subsidiary. An important part of the implementation process is for our Clinical team to actively engage with all clients from the earliest opportunity, in order that client users are fully equipped to get the most out of Odyssey, right from the outset.
We provide a customized blend of e-learning, interactive knowledge bases and online support to offer accessible and flexible learning and anywhere and at anytime. Each user will be provided with access to a multi-media e-learning ‘Getting started guide’ via the Odyssey e-Learning Zone. This clearly demonstrates in a step-by-step format, effective and safe use of the software. At the end of the guide, users (clinicians and non-clinicians) will need to carry out an assessment ensuring they are competent in navigating the system. Every user will additionally be able to access an Odyssey practice site with a supportive tutorial guide for practice and reflection purposes. The lead clinician at each client site will also have the
right to use the Odyssey Learning Environment (OLE). Within
this area the lead clinician can access more detailed guidance
and also be encouraged to communicate via a discussion forum
with named learning and development facilitators at Odyssey.
This communication allows any learning issues to be swiftly
addressed and as users progress with the system. There will
also be the opportunity to access news blogs as well as regular
updates of the system as they occur. Finally this area is the
environment where further learning modules will be deployed. |
