How it worksOdyssey Reception presents short sets of age-sex specific questions, linked to the patient’s problem, as well as a single, general triage question. It’s the same clinical data unpinning the product as all Odyssey versions but presented in jargon-free straightforward language for the non-clinician. From the responses recorded, Odyssey will immediately recognize conditions that need to be assessed by a nurse or doctor urgently and either recommend an immediate transfer to a clinician or a direct referral to the emergency ambulance service. Patient urgency is recommended by priority, P1 to P3. The organization can determine its own policies for how to handle each level. These outcomes are easily configurable by administrators at site.
