Avia Health Informatics produces outstanding clinical decision support systems. We are the people that clinicians like to deal with. We understand their needs. We are passionate about what we do and are not satisfied with being anything other than the best.

Our methodology is to use our understanding of clinical need and professional practice to create state-of-the-art technological solutions – not just for today, but also fit for the future.

Our product range reflects the ingenuity of clinical staff and our dedicated computer software design and development teams. Our international clinical team is actively involved in clinical practice and in touch with issues that demand state-of-the-art clinical decision support software. We have a world-class team of consultants and trainers. Our software and clinical database has now been translated into several European languages including German, French, Italian and Dutch and has a worldwide installation base.

Unlike many decision support systems, Odyssey has been thoroughly independently evaluated and its safety and effectiveness verified demonstrating it to be the most thoroughly researched, evidence-based product of its type in the world. For example, Odyssey clinical content has been given a prestigious international accreditation by NHG (Nederlands Huisartsen Genootschap), the Dutch equivalent of the UK’s Royal College of General Practitioners. This world esteemed body has awarded Accreditation to the Odyssey TeleAssess clinical content to our Dutch partners MedicInfo BV at a ceremony on 5th July 2006.

The accreditation took over 6 months of peer review to complete and involved rigorous checks by 50 leading doctors from The Netherlands. It represents yet further endorsement that the Odyssey clinical content contains internationally agreed best practice, evidence-based guidance.
